Do you service all parts of Adelaide?
Yes we do! A travel fee may apply to those who are located outside a 20km radius of the Tea Tree Gully area.
What is your style of training?
Quite a controversial topic in dog training at the moment - I've never liked putting myself into a box. There's no one size fits all (in my opinion) when it comes to dog training, I judge every dog on it's merits and adjust accordingly to the dog that is in front me, catering to their needs as well as helping you achieve your goals. I'm a huge believer in creating a solid relationship with any dog that I work with, built on trust, clarity and understanding.
Do you do in-home training or do we come to you?
We come to you! Our training packages and puppy program are typically done in the comfort of your own home and/or surrounding local areas to expand our training depending on what you are looking to achieve with your dogs/puppies. We also do pick ups and drop offs for our a walk and train service as well!
Do you still go ahead with training if my dog is on heat?
No - we would look to reschedule until they have gone through their full cycle. Dogs that are in heat, especially for the first time, are going through quite a bit, mentally, physically and emotionally. They might not be in the right headspace to take on the information we are trying to communicate to them, especially if we are asking them to complete a challenging task.
How quickly will we see results?
Depending on the dog, situation, and the negative behaviours you might be experiencing - positive results can be achieved quite quickly and change is often apparent in our initial behaviour assessment (though not fixed). BUT (and its a big BUT), you as the owner will have to be willing to put in the work that is required, and follow suggestions and recommendations to really see the positive changes you are seeking, and I will be there every step of the way to push and guide you to reach your goals.
Do you offer further support after training packages have finished?
Yes we do! We offer lifetime support, whether something else pops up in the future that you would like to address, or you get a new dog/puppy that you might need help with, or maybe just some advice - we will always be there for you to reach out too!
Can you help me with lead pulling?
Yes we can, with consistency, time and effort, we can help you achieve an enjoyable loose leash walk with your canine companion.
My dog is difficult to deal with in our home, can you help with that?
Yes absolutely - we can help you achieve good manners in the home. During the initial assessment, we'll talk you through and demonstrate any recommendations and or changes that should be made, looking to add clarity and consistency to help your dog understand what it is you want from them, and what you don't want from them.
